More Information about the Product

This Palm OS extension teaches the well known applications new tricks. It can be invoked in any application using the system "Send" command, i.e. most built-in applications and a lot of third party utility software.

Sending data to application seems pointless - why would anyone send the data to himself? First of all, the sender does not have to be the same application as the receiver. The most common example is the file manager reading the card and transferring data to other applications. As a result, it gives you the reverse of "Send to Card", i.e. a way to restore your backups or read the data saved by another device - not necesserily the palm.

For example you can:

(to name only the built-in applications).

Sometimes sending the data from the application other than file manager is also useful, for example: And of course it is useful for testing your own software, too.

TXT->Memos Compatibility Note
It seems that not all versions of Memos application accepts *.txt files! This is not a bug in "Send to Application", such scandalously broken Memo app does not accept the "regular" beamed memos, too.
Devices known to work:Treo 600, Zire 72, Zire 22, Zodiac, all (?) old Palm OS 3 and Palm OS 4 devices
Broken Memos application found in:Treo 650, Tungsten T|X
Solution: Unknown. Get another memo application?
