What is Minute Hawk?
- Minute Hawk keeps track of the number of minutes
that you use for inbound and outbound calls from your
Treo smart phone.
- Select the day of the month on which you are billed
by your carrier, and Minute Hawk shows you exactly
how many minutes you’ve used during each billing
cycle.
- If you exceed the number of free minutes included in
your cell phone plan, Minute Hawk calculates the
additional charges automatically.
- You can even tell Minute Hawk to send you an alert
whenever you exceed a specific number of minutes
each day or within each billing cycle for inbound or
outbound calls.
Does the Treo’s built-in Call Log do this?
- No. The call log built into your Treo will show you
only the phone numbers dialed and received, but does
not display the number of minutes.
- The call log also does not provide a monthly
breakdown of exactly how many minutes you’ve used
within each billing cycle.
- If you delete calls from the Treo’s call log, Minute
Hawk still maintains an accurate count of minutes used
for inbound and outbound calls.
